IAPO Policy Webinar for Members on the World Health Organization’s 132nd Session of the Executive Board
by IAPO at 5:43PM Tuesday 15 January 2013 (News)

In January, IAPO CEO, Jo Groves, and IAPO Governing Board member, Robert Johnstone, will attend the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 132nd Session of the Executive Board in Geneva, Switzerland. At the Executive Board session, IAPO will make statements on non-communicable diseases, counterfeit medical products and WHO reform.

In December, IAPO held a Policy Webinar to brief members on the upcoming Executive Board meeting.

The webinar:

  • Outlined key policy issues on the Executive Board agenda
  • Updated members on IAPO’s policy work since the World Health Assembly 2012
  • Outlined IAPO’s position on key policy issues

There was also the opportunity for members to ask questions about IAPO’s policy work at the international level.
