Highlights of the report include:
More than half of members who responded to the consultation are involved in national healthcare decision-making and value information received from IAPO to support this work.
More than half of respondents are involved in research and have the opportunity to contribute to IAPO’s research areas in 2013. These will include biosimilars, indicators of patient-centred healthcare and innovation.
37% of respondents reported that they sit on an international healthcare board or committee. (Every year at least one place becomes available on IAPO’s Governing Board.)
Many members hold events throughout the year and engage patients and other healthcare stakeholders worldwide. (Members have exclusive opportunities to post their event on our website and Facebook page.)
Members would like to be more involved in IAPO’s events, capacity building opportunities and policy work. (Our Member Induction Webinar gives in-depth information on IAPO and how to be involved as a member, as well as current and upcoming opportunities. Policy Webinars will also run throughout the year.)
