Latin American patients’ organizations found Latin American Network of Infertility Organizations

IAPO member, CONCEBIR, along with a number of other infertility organizations in Latin America, have come together to found the Latin American Network of Infertile People Organizations. The network includes representatives from Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Peru. Dr. Guillermina Pieroni from CONCEBIR will be the president for the first two years.

This network aims to strengthen ties between infertility patients' organizations in Latin America. In its statutes, the network adheres to the principles of IAPO and the International Consumer Support for Infertility (ICSI). Across Latin America, patients face similar issues with infertility and its treatment. The network aims to defend reproductive rights of infertile people and also of those born through ART.

The network will also aim to contribute to research and dissemination of topics related to infertility and reproductive healthcare, working on education campaigns and health prevention.
