1. Describe your role at TASO in a sentence:
My role is to provide leadership and coordinate the strategic development and implementation of TASO advocacy, policy, health governance and networking agenda. We work for the wellbeing of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and diseases.

...of high passion and desire to improve access to quality and better healthcare services for every single patient.
3. Why does TASO exist?
TASO exists to contribute to the process of preventing HIV infection, restoring hope and improving the quality of life of persons, families and communities affected by HIV infection and disease.
4. What is your biggest achievement as an organization in the past year?
We celebrated 25 years of TASO’s existence and fulfilling service to patients. In 2013, TASO reached out to 642,999 members of the community with behavioural change messages, with a focus on key populations; fisher folks, sex workers, uniformed personnel, truckers and youth out of school.
5. What does patient-centred healthcare look like to you?
It’s about helping patients, health consumers and their healthcare providers be more active in consultations and make informed decisions. It is customary in TASO to have clients’ voices heard. Patients' issues are discussed and incorporated into the plans and practices of the healthcare.
6. What do you think is the key benefit of being involved with IAPO and a global alliance for patients?
A collective voice is strong, powerful and wins.
